The staff were most helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they were knowledgable about the area. Food was excellent, decor well thought of, location perfect. Perfect setting for quiet holiday or shopping spree. Ideal for business meetings. Will definitely use again in the future.
The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we coudln't stay any longer.
Being so close to teh beach.
We had the best of meals on Friday 19th Nov, beautifully served and presented and memorable and a good price. Breakfast also very civilised. The location was unexpectedly beautiful and the Gormley beach art breathtaking, making for a good walking experience after breakfast each day. We also enjoyed the excellent public transport system, we used the bus and the train, to get into the city centre.
The shower was not to a standard that I would have liked, very meanflow and difficult to regulate! Saturday night in the hotel ws disapppointing and we would have enjoyed bar food availability to have gone on a to 8oc. After a very bust sightseeing day we just wanted simple food and relaxation.
friendly environment-convenient location-good outlook
we loved our stay at the royal, and we are going back after the new year hopefully,i would recomend to a friend or family for sure,
we loved everything about this hotel,no faults at all.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and quiet. Handy for the train into Liverpool. Hotels prices in Liverpool were ridiculous far too Hotel was only a 20 minute train ride into the centre of Liverpool.
The shower in the bathroom was rather poor. They also had me down for a two night stay instead of one. This was soon retified.
The very nice and tastefully decorated rooms, The brilliant breakfasts. Friendly staff, Convenience for getting into the City centre. No problem parking your car.
The staff were very friendly, rooms and bathrooms were very big and spacious, very luxurious and clean. Free wifi and amazing breakfast in the morning. Free Car Park as well.
Lovely staff, very comfortable andnexcellent breakfast.
Excellent staff and service, comfortable well appointed rooms
I stay here because I can park and go for a walk in the evening. The hotel is fine
TV reception - kept pixalating
Such a welcoming hotel .well the staff from the bar ,chefs reception ,breakfast rest the girls that keep the rooms spotless and helpful I loved staying in the royal and as I have family in Liverpool I will always book the royal from now on ,I had room 19 great sea views my only fault was I found the bed far too hard but apart from that 10 out 10
Just the bed really but just a bit too hard for me
The staff were outstanding, helpful, polite and extremely friendly. They even assisted when I arrived without a tie and a member of staff offered a choice which was gratefully received. Nothing was to much trouble for them.
Our room was on the back and suffered from noise from the local pub until just before midnight, however, it did not spoil our stay.
The view from the room, 17 on top floor. The size of room and bed The biscuits left with the tea & coffee The service in the bar and the meal we had. The breakfast.
Nothing to complain about. But next time will go for the Bed, Breakfast and Evening meal offer. Difficult to find hotel in Crosby as all websites just give Liverpool.
The room, or should I say box, was very poor value for the price we paid. As soon as we opened the door to our room both my partner and I were shocked and almost tempted to walk straight back out again. Very dated, unpleasant and tiny. Although I will say the bathroom was nice but could use a newer shower unit. Will never book there again. Overall, totally disgusted.
